Are You Covered? Health Care help for Kitsap County at your library

Stressed out about the March 31st deadline to sign up for health insurance?  The Kitsap Regional Library is here to help.  In partnership with Peninsula Community Health Services,  Assisters will be available at the library to walk you through enrollment or answer any questions you might have.  No appointments are necessary, and  you are welcome on a first come, first-served basis.  You can call your individual library for more information.

  • March 12th – Sylvan Way Library 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
  • March 14th – Port Orchard Library 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • March 17th – Poulsbo Library 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
  • March 18th – Bainbridge Island Library 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
  • March 19th – Sylvan Way Library 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
  • March 21st – Port Orchard Library 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • March 24th – Poulsbo Library 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
  • March 25th – Bainbridge Island Library 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
  • March 26th – Sylvan Way Library 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
  • March 28th – Port Orchard Library 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • March 31st – Poulsbo Library 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm

If none of these times are convenient for you, try these other options:

Peninsula Community Health Services:  You can call PCHS to talk to an Assister at 360-377-3776 Monday through Friday 8:00 – 4:30.

Kitsap Public Health:  You can call the Health District at 360-337-5235 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to talk to an Assister for help with enrollment.

You can enroll in a health insurance plan online at www.wahealthplanfinder.org. When you sign up, you will be asked for your social security number, address, phone number, and estimated household income.
