If you are a Gmail user, you may have noticed some recent changes in the way your inbox works. And it may be affecting the emails you receive, including the ones you have come to appreciate and count on.
Gmail now has new tabs like “Primary,” “Promotions,” and “Updates”. Hold and reminder messages from email@example.com might be hiding in one of these new email categories.
To make sure you don’t miss a due date or an item on hold, you can do one of the following:
–Drag and drop emails from Kitsap Regional Library into the “primary” tab. When asked if you’d like future emails from us to go to your Primary inbox, click “Yes”.
–Turn off the tab option & go back to having just one inbox. First, click on the gear button and select “Configure Inbox.” Then, uncheck all the available options (you can’t uncheck Primary.) Click Save.
Also be sure that we are not ending up in your spam folder. We never want to be spam:)
